Monaco is reportedly in advanced discussions to sign Farès Ghedjemis to compensate for the departure of Maghnes Akliouche.

Following the transfer of Maghnes Akliouche to Paris Saint-Germain, AS Monaco is focusing on recruiting a new asset in the midfield.

Among the candidates, Farès Ghedjemis seems to emerge as the priority for Monaco's management. The Algerian player, who made a name for himself at the 2026 World Cup and shines in Serie B, is sought after for his skills.

Talks between Monaco and the player are reportedly well underway, but the club from the Rock faces increased competition to secure his services.
