Julian Alvarez expresses his desire to leave Atlético

Julian Alvarez, contracted to Atlético Madrid until 2030, has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club soon.
Julian Alvarez, currently under contract with Atlético Madrid until 2030, is said to have declared his intention to leave the Colchoneros at the end of the season. His remarks were made following Argentina's victory against Austria in the 2026 World Cup.
This statement did not sit well with Miguel Angel Gil Marin, the CEO of Atlético, who publicly expressed his disagreement. The Madrid club could thus face a complicated situation with one of its key players.
It remains to be seen whether the European giants, rumored to be interested in Alvarez, will make concrete moves during the summer transfer window to secure his services.
